Montgomery College Enrichment Day March 2024 ~ Pilates Workshop 

Welcome to Montgomery College Virtual classes

provided by Abril through VIDA I AM.

Below you will find the current virtual classes offered to Montgomery College employees. In order to have access to these classes you must have signed the MC Wellness Waiver. To sign the waiver please contact Megan Cooperman, click HERE. Registration is required for each class. Participants will receive the Zoom confirmation and link on the day of the class 15 minutes before class starts. If participants are not able to attend the live class they will receive the recording. The recording will expire the following day at midnight. Due to the nature of virtual classes and as a courtesy to others, participants will not be able to enter the meeting after the class start time.

Gentle Yoga Class (45 minutes) ~Three dates ONLY!

Join us for a slow/medium paced style of Yoga synchronizing the breath with each movement. Focusing on classic poses and correct alignment with creative sequencing and fluid movement to increase strength, mobility and flexibility while improving mind/body awareness. All levels are welcome.

Days: Tuesday April 9th, 16th and 23rd

Time: 5:15 PM

What you will need: Yoga mat.

Pilates Express (40 minutes)

Learn to utilize the breath and proper movement and alignment to improve your posture, balance and standing strength. Pilates is a sequence of exercises designed to strengthen the body from the inside out; from the core to every muscle of the body in a low impact medium pace class.

Days: Mondays

Time: 12 PM

What you will need: Yoga mat.

Full Body Conditioning (45 minutes)

Full body workout is a comprehensive, balanced and well sequenced workout where you can strengthen your body as a whole while improving stamina, mobility and coordination. Cool down and stretch included.

Days: Wednesday

Time: 12 PM

What you will need: Yoga mat and one set of dumbbells (no more than 10 lbs). Tennis shoes. Bottle water and small towel.
